Hi everyone! Just a quick post to share the good news. In yesterday’s mail, I received my acceptance letter from the University of Utrecht for the LL.M. (master of laws) in Public International Law!

I’m extremely happy about this recent development–I was so nervous, but it all worked out. The program is a year long starting in February of 2009 going through February of 2010. More about the program can be found at this link here.

So, I am now officially allowed to stay in the Netherlands for a bit longer. The program will be a challenge, but I’m up for it. I hope that also as a default by the end of my time in NL, whether or not I look for a job here, my Dutch will be at least passable! Now the next challenge coming up soon is figuring out a place to stay from February on…I’ll keep you posted on the details, as always!
